Weekly Musings of the 14th

Good Morning Everyone!  Still a bit later in the morning than I like but the time change can do that for awhile.  I am so happy I am back to early morning walks once more, only having one mid-day walk due to DD's trip to the dentist on Monday.

Took my first morning picture on Tuesday!  DD had a good appointment at the dentist.  The tooth was pulled with minimum trouble.  Healing has gone along pretty well too.  She was at work the next day and not feeling too bad at all.

Tigger has a habit from time to time to dash out into the hallway to roll on the scratchy carpet there.

She dashed out a couple of times this week and looked pretty pleased with herself as she walked back in.  DD continues to have two shifts a week but at hours that are not really so bad to handle taking her in and picking her up so all is good there although I think she would be pleased to have just one more shift.

Pretty quiet week all in all but wonderful to be back outside walking first thing in the morning and knowing it is done for the day.  Hubby hasn't gotten back to writing as I think that huge flow of them at the start was just waiting to get onto paper, when another one of those happens I am sure there will be posts here.  He has decided to get back on Facebook and I bet we will be setting that up soon.

Have a great weekend my friends.

  1. How wonderful that the dental work has gone well for DD. Dental work is no fun...ever.
Early morning walks usually mean solitude. A good time for walking meditation. The sunrise is an added bonus.
Looking forward to the next round of political commentary from DH. Sadly, there is no shortage of events of which to write.
    Happy weekend!! πŸ€—πŸ’–

    1. Oh me too, when hubby gets his writing on, it is always a fun read. I do love my morning walks, I say my rosary, listen to a book and enjoy the beauty of the sunrises. Thanks for stopping by and have a lovely weekend.

  2. Great photos of Tigger! Our purry friends are family, too.

Glad your DD's dental work went well. I burnt out on TV and you know what? I'm adjusting just fine to be less exposed to the "stuff" on it. I can still stream music for the puppy, thankfully.

    1. I know what you mean, it is like watching children play and not in the cute way but the play war kinda way. I do love the music streaming service best. Thanks for coming by.

  3. That sounds like a lovely, productive week! I'm so glad to hear your DD's dental appointment went smoothly, and that she's healing well. And how adorable that Tigger loves the scratchy carpet! It's always nice when they find their little joys.

It's great that DD's work shifts are manageable, and I hope she gets that extra shift she's hoping for. Enjoying those morning walks must be wonderful!

And how exciting that your hubby is getting back on Facebook! I'm sure you'll have fun setting that up. I'm also looking forward to hearing about his writing when the next wave of inspiration hits. It sounds like you're all doing well, and it's great to hear such positive updates!

Have a wonderful weekend! (((BIG HUGS)))

    1. Oh me too, I love reading his stuff, I try really hard not to push him but boy I want to read his next stuff. Tigger does so many cute poses that it is tough not to take 1000s of them. I am so happy to see you stopping by, wishing you a great weekend.

Well, this took a bit longer because as I looked for an April picture in my folders I found some funny ones too and ended up driving hubby...
