Weekly Musings of the 24th

 

This is the same stream that I took a picture of a few weeks back.  As you can see it is pretty filled in and green once more.  I was pretty busy yesterday with DD the 1st as she moved her stuff back into the storage unit only keeping what she will need always including, of course, her kitty.  All the extras such as pictures and bedding that made her room her home for the past 8 months were taken back to storage until her and her friend can come down from London with a U-Haul and take it all away in June sometime.

It was nice that it took only 3 trips to clear her room of those things and since the rain finally stopped it wasn't too bad a job.  

Today was the day that her friend picked her up and she and Licorice were on their way to their permanent home in London.  Transfer for the job has been completed and the only thing forgotten here was a mug and her aprons from her job here.  It is okay though as the aprons will be issued to her when she starts at the other store anyway.  They keep lots.  They are great aprons and I think I will be using them in the future. 

Tigger will be back in her room after we do our spring cleaning now.  She is watching her bird friends from her perch here.  

It has been nice spending time with DD and catching up and chatting about life in general.  I think we are both happy to be back to our separate lives though.  Hard to live back with your parents once you are an adult no matter how well you get along.  

My girlfriend and I will be getting together for lunch this coming week and it has been a long time since we have had a chance to do this and we are both looking forward to it.  

Other than preparing for DD's move we were pretty quiet this week.  I think it was after all the busyness of last week.  

Anyway, that was the week that was and the funny below made me wonder what had happened that made the cemetery feel they needed this sign put up.
