Days of Gratitude - Day 42

I started life being taken to Mass, and then there were the times that I refused to go but then I went back and now I am hugely grateful for the Mass.

There is nothing more beautiful, more miraculous more deeply moving than Mass and I will never skip a Mass again beyond being too ill to go and I pray that doesn't not happen for too long because my heart always longs to attend Mass.

  1. I remember my sister in law being comforted by the Mass. She would take her young charges to Mass at the church connected with the Catholic school where she taught, and in the final years of her life she fully converted to Catholicism, such that a Mass was said for her funeral. While I am not Catholic myself, I recognize a strength in so many that I know and love (I had a great aunt who became a nun in her teens and served in orders into her 80's) that is rooted in their faith.

Blessings and may the Mass continue to be in your life for however many years God graces you.

Days of Gratitude - Day 43
