Here we are in November and celebrating All Saints Day. This week was as always (most of the time) a fun week. I did struggle with putting my morning walks later in the day so it was sunny but it became too easy to skip them completely. After too many skips at the end of the week I went back to first thing. I know that after the clocks change this weekend, I will be walking in lighter surroundings once more.
We were off to the reserve for our monthly fill up and hubby's smokes too. The gas was nearly 15 cents cheaper a litre and I won't eve touch the difference between hubby's monthly purchase as it is completely mind-blowing. Yes, hubby has cut back a lot on his habit, I don't think it will go much less but I am not going to harp one way or the other.
As you might know in my previous post I got my hair trimmed once more. I like to keep it off the hearing aids because having my hair brush them can be annoying. My hairdresser and I were chatting this time about tea, finding out that both of us prefer tea over coffee.
Loving the morning walks once more
On the way back from the hairdresser I stopped at the offices of the Naturopathic doctor and booked an appointment, I have a feeling it is the right thing to do as they had a cancellation and I am seeing them this coming week. I also checked into the tax office and asked about how long until I get the final papers for mom's estate. It is still a normal wait. Sometimes they are quick and some times take forever. I may call her lawyer and ask to close her stuff with them and if anything should come up and I really doubt it will I can handle it on my own. After all it has been 2 years since she past.
And grateful? Oh, I am grateful for the friendships of the saints. I know that might sound strange to some who don't know them like I have in my life. Between their writings, biographies and their prayers and help in my life they are like a huge family of aunts, uncles, and cousins. They are always there to help if one but asks.
Enjoy your weekend!
