Weekly Musings of the 7th and Days Gratitude - Day 26

First off I am going to start with what I am grateful for and that is finally a wonderful doctor.  I went to my Naturopathic Doctor and it was so refreshing to be listened to.  The appointment went over so it was an hour and a half just going over my medical history.  He actually looked in my ears, felt my throat, check out things for a physical and talked to me about things.  Together we can work out a better way to deal with the various issues which he thinks has a lot to do with allergies that have developed over time that were not being looked at.  He was really good and treated me like a person and not a symptom to throw meds at.

I am definitely following through with the blood work and appointments to see if we can manage the hands and other things without drugs.  I am very thankful that I was nudged to follow through with seeing this doctor.

This morning on my first loop around the buildings, the sky was an amazing fiery red.

By the time I walked around the second time it was gone.  The sky was it's normal cloudy colour and all sign of the the red sky was gone.  I thought that was really special to see it like that and then within a few moments - poof - gone.

Also saw that the fraud charge on our credit card was cleared up and refund was in place.  Old card cancelled and new card issued.  The blessing that came from all of that was actually an awareness of spending habits, having to ask hubby for his card really made me aware of using the card.  That was probably a really good thing to have happen and wouldn't have happened without seeing a charge on the card that was not ours.

Hubby also decided to move things around in his room once more.  After living with it for a bit he realized that certain things were not working and needed tweeking.  I like it because he can do that to his hearts content in his room and leave my stuff be - LOL.  Tigger decided that she really likes this years birthday and Christmas presents and has proceeded to take them over.

She has also figured out a way to make hubby get up and then when he moves she jumps up and takes over the chair moving him to the couch.  She is really the most bossy cat we have ever owned.

Rest of the week was usual stuff with pretty nice temperatures for morning walks.  Yes, it is autumn but still lovely mornings.
