Weekly Musings of the 6th

Good Morning all and look at that the first week of November is sliding by already.  Mind you having the month start on the Sunday kinda makes it easy - LOL.

Clock changes, of course, made the morning walks a little brighter which I very much love.  I rolled my eyes watching the news and listening to people talk as if the changing of the clock is what brings the shorter days and not the position of the sun to the northern hemisphere.  I bet these people are leaning towards the flat earth notion and that everything goes around the earth at the center of the universe like they are the center of attention too.

Since hubby got me a lovely collection of teas for my birthday I got to wondering and asked if he could make me a little shelf thing that would be like the one we had in our hobby room (that is now his room and for his stuff)  He thought about it and say he thought he could and so here is my lovely place for teas.

It is great to have a spot where I can see all the kinds that I have.  I decided to also make a list of what I get and tick off which one can be bought again and which can be a pass for me.

Hubby is doing much better now that the medicine has been finished and the infection taken care of.  As he felt better and better he realized that the infection must have been around awhile and he was just putting things down to getting older and not what it really was.  I think that happens with a lot of seniors, you get use to this and that not realizing it is something else.

As you probably noticed when the month changed I decided to change up the lay out of the blog.  Hope you like it, the old one was doing weird things that I couldn't seem to get rid of anymore like messing with the banner at the top so time to try something new.

Later today we may head out to the Simcoe Fair Trade sale that runs today.  We hadn't gone out to those kind of craft fairs in awhile and wish to check it out once more.   It gets too easy to just stay home but once the effort has been made to get out one really has a lot of fun checking these things out.  We also headed to the reserve for a monthly fill up to find that where gas was 1.79.9 a litre everywhere else it was more that 20 cents less and so worth the drive over there.

Worked on a couple of puzzles this week both were of a lesser kind of quality and hard to work with but the pictures were very nice when finished.

Re-reading some old favourites in my collection of books so no review to post that hasn't been done already but enjoying the trip with an old friend (book).  I also picked up my plastic canvas sewing once more in the afternoons and will take a picture once the kit is finished.  So keeping busy and out of mischief this week but enjoying ourselves.

 Have a lovely weekend
