Recipes - Christmas Crackle

I do love a good Christmas recipe, especially those that are really easy to do and to find the ingredients.  Something not all recipes do.  This one caught my eye on Delish.  It is a great website for recipes but with a huge downside, you only get to look at a few recipes and then it locks up unless you are willing to pay for a membership.  Not a fan of that at all because there are so many recipes out there that you can find with easy searches.  This one I found before such things happened and so I shall share.

35 saltine crackers

1 cup butter

1 cup packed brown sugar

1 3/4 cup chocolate chips

1 bag red and green holiday M&Ms

1 jar holiday sprinkles

Preheat oven to 350F

Line a baking sheet with tin foil and spray with cooking spray. Line the baking sheet with crackers and set aside. In a saucepan melt butter and brown sugar and bring to a boil, stirring continuously until bubbles break the surface, about 2 minutes. Pour mixture over crackers in an even layer and bake 12 to 15 minutes. Top immediately with chocolate chips and let melt. Smooth out to an even layer and then top with M&Ms and sprinkles. Cut into squares and the cool in fridge until the chocolate has hardened.

As I said - easy and yummy.

Have yourself a great day!

  1. Another one to print and add to my collection. This would be fun to make with the younger set. They could be in charge of sprinkles and the M&Ms. Thanks for sharing! 🎅🏼

  2. Ooh, that looks like one that would be fun to make! And decadent without being overpoweringly so!
