Yes, I am grateful for snow and yesterday it did and it is suppose to snow some more today. Sure it messes up my morning walk because I am careful not to go walking when ice is there but still I love the magical feeling of snow.
Hubby loves being out in the snow, he uses the excuse of clearing off the car to spend time in it.


We had flakes here yesterday but they didn't stick at all. I'm glad of that because there were runners on the street for the half marathon. I don't run it any more, but I know people who do.

Thank you, it is from the tomb of the unknown soldier in Ottawa just after the ceremony. Everyone who attends places their poppy on the tomb as they leave. Of course the wind catches them and blows them all away but there is that moment when the tomb is just covered with them.
