Weekly Musings of the 27th

This will probably be a short blog as it was one of those super quiet weeks that come with both winter and retirement.  Sure we ran our usual errands and we did take a trip to the reserve to fill up Sparky who is running just fine now and we didn't get a new battery yet.  Hubby feels that it is only when it gets below 20 that Sparky won't start but so far the temperatures have been well above that.

I finished my bible books summary notebook and did add those books that are treasured in our Catholic bible.  It really made me focus on how to summarize the two books of Maccabees which has so much going on in it that it was a huge challenge to just pick out key points.  Tobit, Judith, Sirach, Wisdom and Baruch all needed to be done as well.  After I had them and more in my Pinterest bible folder I had to sort out all the extra that I had collected without meaning to.  I had a 100 pins in what should have had 73 pins.  Once I weeded out the double and triples I had 72... great... who was missing, well that was Romans, found it and tucked it in my folder.  I will say one thing that all this going back and forth, printing and pasting and the like made me know the names of the books in the bible way more than I had ever in my life.  Which of course is wonderful to learn new things as we get older, actually important to never stop learning.

Oh, I have to share with you a new discovery on YouTube, you may or may not have discovered yourself but if you like Agatha Christie and the like there is a great one to check out - Warm Pages

The YouTube ones are anywhere from an hour and a half to two hours but I also found Warm Pages on Spotify too.  Those are longer but of course, you can take your time.  So far I have found on YouTube Miss Marple, Tommy and Tuppence as well as Sherlock Holmes on Warm Pages.  So if you like listening while you are doing something else, this is a really fun find.

Anyway, quiet week and wishing you a lovely weekend.
