Days of Gratitude - Day 32

 

I am grateful that one of my favourite authors has been able to write again.  Just a bit over a year ago she lost her husband so suddenly that it took her breath away and she step away from writing.  I understood that as I read the note on her Facebook page the events took my breath away too.  I was completely prepared that book 28 was the very last book that I would read of my favourite characters.  On Monday I saw the first Facebook post in over a year that book 29 had been released, of course I picked it up right away.

Mimi Clark was never going to win the most popular student award. The prolific tattletale seemed to cruise through university life, seeking out rule-breakers so she could bring their sins to the dean’s attention. I am grateful that Jana DeLeon has picked up the pen (so to speak) again and that I can enjoy this fun cozy mystery series once more.
