So, another week flew by and today we shall be off to the reserve for hubby's smokes and probably to fill the car. We are lucky with the cost as for what little driving we do, we only need to fill up about once a month and the reserve is usually 20 cents cheaper than anywhere else. It makes it worth the drive for us for both things.
I said I was looking to new things to do through my days to keep from the trap of sitting in front of the television or scrolling on screens. I have managed pretty good so far. I am finishing up that crochet blanket that I started several years back and only needs about 10 rows and a border to be done. As well, there are two kits to work on and some book creating I am doing. I did get to the dollar store and got the items needed to learn about water colour painting and that is going to be a lot of fun. As well as ongoing puzzles too.
Of course, there is no way that I could go any day without reading. Right now I am reading Sarah Mother of Nations, which is the beginning of another series that I am liking very much -
This new collections of books called Biblical Fiction truly give a lot of food for thought. Taking a story from the bible or a character and then building a full story around it. It may be fiction but it makes you think more of the people who lived so long ago, what their lives were like, their loves, how they may have felt about events happening. As well my most favourite cozy mystery author has come out with her latest about favourite characters as well and when I am finished Sarah I am sure I will jump back into Sinful, Louisiana and the characters that are so much fun to read about.
So, all in all another fun week here in our little town. Morning walks continue as is being bossed around by Tigger.
As well as a visitor, who seemed to be enjoying walking below our balcony and checking out if he could find food anywhere close.
Hubby had been working on his lighting for this new layout and as promised here is a night picture of his work.
He really doesn't realize the really nice work he does. Nor does he realize not everyone could figure this out as he does.
He had been still working on the newly created stone walls for the houses. More on those in the future.
I, also finished up tidying up my cookbook which had so more 'For 2' recipes as well as cleaning up some recipes that needed tweeking.
I can't help wanting to freshen up my cover either - LOL.
As well as another finished puzzle which I picked up because this was just too cute a picture to ignore.
And so now it is off for a drive this morning and I am wishing you all, who stop by, a lovely weekend whatever the weather gets up to where you are.
